Quality Assurance Engineer

Reports to: Director of Engineering

Responsibilites:

• Lead and develop QA testing processes for DoSomething.org 
• Live and love continuous integration, Selenium, functional and unit testing, performance testing
• Manage backlog of bugs. Create detailed actionable tasks to be passed on to developers 
• Cross-browser (and cross-device!) testing on campaign and product builds
• Develop and document test cases that can be distributed and used by others in the organization

Must haves:

• Demonstrated experience in quality testing on an enterprise scale
• Experience with Trello, Jira, Trac, or similar issue tracking / workflow tools
• A working knowledge of the web request lifecycle (i.e., How does my browser work?)
• Epic communication and project management skills
• An interest in building things for social good
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Nice to haves:

• Familiarity with PHP, Python, Ruby, or JavaScript
• Experience in building tests with Selenium WebDriver
