Responsibilites:
- Help expand and improve functionality of DoSomething.org
- Work with innovative technologies that increase the ways young people take action (analytic-driven messaging, Mobile SMS & WAP)
- Work closely with product owners and front-end engineers to deliver optimized experiences across multiple digital mediums
Must haves:
- B.S./MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated expertise in PHP
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript & non-relational databases
- Experience working with the Drupal content management system
- An interest in building things for social good
Nice to haves:
- Experience in API design
- Experience with Symfony2
- Knowledge in one or more server-side languages other than PHP
- Contributes to an open-source project
