Front-End Engineer

Reports to: Director of Technical Product

Responsibilities:

Working with designers and engineers to implement products, campaigns and improvements on DoSomething.org
Front-end architecture and templating for the DoSomething.org
Participate in design and code reviews

Must haves:

• Expert knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS)
• Knowledge of Javascript (not just jQuery)
• Experience working with Drupal or other CMS theming
• Experience with version control (git/github)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Keen interest in teenagers taking action for social good

Nice to haves:

• Interest in responsive design
• Experience working with a JS templating framework (e.g. Ember, Backbone, Mustache, Handlebars)
• SASS/SCSS experience
• Experience with PHP, or another backend technology
